PharmaCentra Congratulates Honor Student Jasmine Surles
Will represent Georgia at Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship
Americus, GA — May 30, 2017
PharmaCentra, LLC, extends congratulations to Jasmine Surles, a 2017 Honor graduate at Americus-Sumter High School. As a result of receiving a perfect score on the MOS PowerPoint® Exam (the highest score for the state), Jasmine will represent Georgia at Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship.
The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship, presented by Certiport, Inc., is a global competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®. If successful, Jasmine would advance to compete at the World Championship later this summer. She also earned a perfect score on the Georgia End-of-Pathway Assessment for Business.
While finishing up her senior year, Jasmine worked at PharmaCentra as a Client Services Intern and will continue until she leaves for Kennesaw State University in the fall. Jasmine plans to major in Business Administration with a minor in Mathematics and will work at PharmaCentra while home on school breaks.
PharmaCentra is grateful to partner with the Sumter County School System and support its Career Pathways and Work-Based Learning programs. These programs offer unique opportunities for students to gain real-world career experiences while still attending high school.
“Jasmine has been a wonderful addition to the PharmaCentra team,” said Kim Christmas, VP of Human Resources and Community Relations. “Her supervisors report that she is always eager to help and is very dependable. Jasmine even gave up her Senior Day to come help the team meet a project deadline. Her Microsoft Office skills are beyond our expectations!”
